VISANG announced on the 27th that it has signed a five-year exclusive agreement with Smartistic Education Technology to supply its English learning program ‘Challenge’ to Egypt.

This marks VISANG’s third export contract for Challenge this year, following agreements in Paraguay and seven Asia-Pacific countries. Challenge has gained particular attention in emerging markets with limited digital infrastructure thanks to its accessibility and ability to operate in low-spec IT environments.

Challenge is an English learning program that offers experiential content through MR (motion recognition) and AR (augmented reality) technologies. Rather than memorizing English mechanically, students can engage in multisensory learning through physical activities, accelerating their language acquisition. VISANG has demonstrated these learning outcomes through a research study based on the Challenge pilot program conducted in Paraguay.

Smartistic Education Technology, headquartered in the United Kingdom with a subsidiary in Egypt, specializes in distributing educational solutions and equipment. Through this agreement, VISANG will work with Smartistic to roll out Challenge across private kindergartens in Egypt and accelerate its entry into the Middle East and Africa (MEA) EdTech market. According to market research firm ReportLinker, the MEA EdTech market is projected to reach USD 7.6 billion by 2027, showing explosive growth potential.

Mohamed Abd Elghany, CEO of Smartistic, stated, “This agreement is meaningful as it allows us to provide Egyptian kindergarteners with high-quality programs that make learning English enjoyable, like play. I believe Challenge’s experiential content is highly effective in strengthening basic vocabulary and communication skills, which are emphasized in Egyptian classrooms. We will continue to collaborate with VISANG to deliver world-class English content to Egyptian students and build a long-term partnership.

Rho Joong-il, CEO of VISANG Global Company, said, “The Middle East and North Africa region is a high-potential market with a combined population of 250 million children, adolescents, and young adults. However, gaps in IT infrastructure across countries remain a major barrier to investment and innovation in EdTech. From solutions like Challenge, which can run even in low-spec environments, to high-spec global EdTech platforms like AllviA CL, we will address the diverse educational demands of the MEA region. In September, we will also launch our first roadshow in the Middle East to focus on securing new partners.”
